Gosh, a very amazing, wonderful outdoor shoe that provides excellent traction, ankle support, and is extremely comfortable. The BOA cable lacing system works very well to mold the boot to your entire foot. So very comfortable. I use everyday in winter going to work, hiking trails in summer, and some limited trail running. The boot is pretty waterproof. Excellent quality (except...see below) and design. One of the most comfortable light duty boots I've owned. Unfortunately - the perhaps fatal flaw - the wind up cam lace tightener is very prone to fail, making the entire shoe worthless because you cannot tie the laces. I've had three different style of Northface running shoes and trail boots with the BOA system. Two of the three pairs have had the BOA cam fail or come apart. Be warned. Northface has been good about standing behind their product. In one case, they refunded the full suggested retail price of the shoe[$] when they were unable to repair or replace the boot. They are hard to keep clean, and the waterproof spray does not help. Trust me. If you are able to find UGG brand products online, for waterproof or inserts for the liner inside the Uggs, they are good investments that will keep your Uggs lasting a longer time. These boots are very comfortable, fashion statement or not. Just make sure you get a size that fits you. Don't make yourself fit into anything just to have them

They still look like new, When I'm not wearing them I have them in the box and the mold things to keep its shape. and a few times a month I'll spray them with the stuff and it keeps 'em looking new.

These shoes are well made!! They are very comfy, come in all different colors. stylish and trendy
